I am a sergeant with a month left until my discharge. I had rhinoplasty done at the military hospital on February 6th by shaving off the protruding nasal bone. It has now been two months since my surgery, and I plan to remove the implant and the cartilage at the tip of my nose in the 3rd to 4th month after my discharge. The implant is made of Gore-Tex, and the tip of the nose is made of cartilage that makes it hard, but I don't know how it goes in. At a plastic surgery clinic, can someone other than the doctor who performed the surgery remove it during the surgery?
