I had 4 teeth extracted, 2 on the upper and 2 on the lower teeth, and had braces for a little over 2 years. My jaw is narrow, so I had crowding teeth on my lower teeth, but they were resolved with braces. I've heard a lot of people say that my jaw looks slimmer after getting braces after extracting the upper and lower teeth.
