I had cosmetic orthognathic surgery, and it's good that my lower jaw got smaller, but I don't want to recommend it because it caused some sensory loss and nasolabial folds. People with jutting chins seem to get a lot more aesthetically pleasing, and if you don't have a protruding jaw corrected or something, the outline just looks better. see
