It has been 100 days (3 months and 10 days)
since I had the 2nd contour surgery (square jaw, chin tip advancement) at ㄴㅌ Plastic Surgery in late September 2024.
The surgery involved resecting a portion of the square jaw and advancing the chin tip by 4.8mm.
At the beginning of the surgery, there was a lot of swelling in my chin, so it felt like my chin was longer, but
the swelling started to go down from the second week and gradually settled down, so
my chin felt shorter and my chin was advanced,
giving me a sophisticated look.
The change was the most dramatic until the first month, and after that, the candy-like swelling around my square jaw
gradually went down.
In addition, the slight swelling that was left on my chin tip has almost completely gone down.
Now, it has been quite a while since I had the surgery, so I don't look in the mirror every time,
but when I do, I can clearly
see my old, blunt-looking face and a sophisticated face shape.
They say that the swelling will continue to go down until the first year, so I will have to keep watching,
but I am very satisfied with the surgery itself.
There have been no major side effects so far, and my mouth opening has returned to how it was before, and my senses have also returned.
I think I did a really good job doing it in the notes. If I were told to go back 100 times, I would do it again in the notes.
I will have to go back soon to see the progress, but I am looking forward to it.
