I did 3 types of contouring, bone grafting, and double chin suction. 2 weeks after the surgery, the stitches were removed, and the inside of my mouth was very swollen. I held the bar myself and held the corner of my mouth wide open. Every time the nurse (?) cut every corner with medical scissors, I felt pain as if the soft flesh in my mouth was being torn.. Stitch removal Before, they gave me something that looked like a red ginseng stick and told me to gargle with it for 1 minute. I didn't know that this was for anesthesia. Could you please say something... I looked at the clock and spit it out exactly for one minute. My left side felt a little numb and the anesthesia had gone away, but my right side and my front chin were barely there and I could feel them all, so I thought I was going to die when they removed the stitches there. After that hellish time, the nurse told me to rinse my mouth, and when I did, I was embarrassed to see so much blood coming out... It really hurts so bad, so if you have stitches removed after contouring, be sure to use an anesthetic gargle carefully in every nook and cranny. Now that I think about it, I think it would be helpful to take a painkiller like Tylenol before removing the stitches.
