I had the surgery on the morning of the 21st (Tuesday) and it's already day 4!!
Since I have severe uneven breasts, I decided to do 400cc on the right and 430cc on the left with Mentor Extra Moderate High. I was going to do it at the midline, but the difference in the lower line was too big when I was drawing on the day of the surgery, so I changed it to the lower line. I didn't want to have a high-speed chest, so I did fat grafting to the sternum and other areas where my chest was lacking (from the love handles that wouldn't go away even with dieting)! Below, I'll just give it a try.
I actually looked into the hospital in more detail after making a reservation, but the more I looked, the more good reviews there were.
Here, there was a hospital that I had been considering before the consultation, and the director was nice and I really liked the reviews, but 1. the subtle distrust that comes from large, factory-style hospitals, 2. the director's attitude changed completely when I told him I couldn't make a same-day reservation, 3. the CCTV that could only be viewed with a police officer accompanying him, and 4. the anesthesiologist who wouldn't go into the operating room with me and would be watching from a different floor (I wondered if they were watching multiple surgeries at the same time..) I really hesitated to make a reservation because of thatㅠㅠ Breasts, in particular, require aftercare and I have to go to the hospital often, so it wasn't easy to make a decision..ㅠㅠ
This place had so many good reviews, but I had no intention of getting fat grafting in the first place (a quick recovery was important and I was worried that it would only add to the costㅠㅠ), so I kept thinking before the consultation that what would happen if I forced myself to get it.. When I actually went there, 1. the director was really kind and the patient is really king? All the staff were so kind that I felt like I was being treated unfairly (Come to think of it, it must have been right since we chose this hospital out of all the many, with our own money!) 1. The director and manager never pressured anyone and did their best to accommodate my needs, such as my implants, size, and incision method. 2. The CCTV was available for viewing in real time before I could even ask. 3. The director of the anesthesia department only performed 2 surgeries a day and watched over me throughout the surgery (I have a chronic illness and was really scared of general anesthesiaㅠㅠ). Everything was really great. So I made a reservation on the same day and had the surgery about 5 days later!
I had finished choosing the hospital, and after making the reservation, I couldn't find a single bad review, so I slept really well and didn't feel anything until I went into anesthesia. Then
suddenly I heard an alarm? My eyes widened at the same time, and since I have thyroid disease, I was worried that the tracheal intubation would irritate me, but here, they did it with a mask.. I saw many reviews saying that the neck hurt more than the chest, but my neck was fine, and it felt like there was a heavy rock on my chest ㅠㅠㅠ Even though I was
n't fully awake from the anesthesia, I screamed that it hurt, so the director and the nurses came and gave me painkillers, and after a while, they brought me water and pumpkin porridge.
Before I went home, the director said that the surgery went well and that we would see each other again tomorrow, and said goodbye before leaving. The nurse taught me how to do stretching and wear an upper band!
When I got home, I kept feeling like there was a warm, big rock on my chest, but it was more bearable than I thought.. I only woke up once and was able to go back to sleep right away.
They say the morning after surgery is the hardest.. I was surprised that I felt better than I thought. I don’t know if it’s because I have a lower extremity, but after doing the stretching that you taught me, I can stretch my arms and touch my ears. I
can brush my teeth by myself, wash my face by myself, and tie my hair by myself. I can do most of my daily life, except for lying down and getting up by myself… I felt dizzy for a moment…
Anyway, I went to the hospital with my mom, and the director checked for any symptoms of the tape, and said that it might be a little itchy because of the taping on the second day, so to bear with it, and that he would take it off on the third day. I received hyperbaric oxygen therapy (I slept soundly while lying down) and Smart Lux. My mom said that before I went to the hospital, I walked very slowly and carefully, but after receiving the treatment, my steps became much lighter and faster. That day, I came home, took medicine, and slept well during the day. At night, I woke up once, took Tylenol PM, and slept soundly again
. I could do all of my daily life, and my chest just felt heavy. I didn’t feel itchy at all from the taping!!
But I was originally worried about having a turtle neck or ruining my posture, so I kept my core tight, but my shoulders kept rolling up without me knowing it ㅠㅠㅠ
When I was looking for YouTube videos, there was a story about someone who got breast surgery and went to get a massage for neck and shoulder pain.. I was worried, so I consciously kept my shoulders straight!!
I woke up feeling completely better, but my shoulders kept rolling up ㅠㅠㅠ Later, my shoulders and back really hurt ㅠㅠ
Anyway, I went to the hospital and got hyperbaric oxygen + Smartlux like on the first day, and the director removed the tape so I could see my bare chest for the first time... wow, there wasn't a single bruise and the shape was already so pretty. ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ It was so prettyㅋㅋㅋㅋ Maybe because the size grew, but the nipples... the color got lighter so my chest looked prettier..ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Then she taught me how to wear shapewear so I put it on and went shopping before coming home and sleeping soundly~
Now I don't feel any pain at all, and maybe because I'm focusing on my core, the rolling up shoulders are gone
for real.. I think that in a few months, I'll be able to live thinking that these are mine without thinking about my old chest...
I'm getting a caps from the 7th day so I'm really looking forward to it, and I know I shouldn't be doing this, but I've been bending over for over 30 minutes right now as I'm writing this review and I don't feel any pain at all.. The director is the best...
