hello ! I had nose reduction, nose bridge, and tip surgery on January 29th.
First of all, the hospital I chose was very famous in Busan by word of mouth, and no matter how good I looked for reviews of the hospital, I didn't like it, but as soon as I saw the review of this hospital, I thought... this is what I decided to do.
Actually, my biggest complex was my nose bridge. It wasn't a huge, fat nose, but my nose looked spread out to the side, which was extremely stressful. You know how your nose flares up every time you smile? Haha
, but for some reason, the counseling director said there was no need to do the nose bridge and just asked me to do the bridge and tip of the nose. The first day I went for a consultation, I wasn't able to consult with the director, but since I really wanted to have it done at this hospital (because of the photo reviews), I boldly set a date for the surgery without meeting the director.
On the same day, I had a pre-surgery consultation with the director, and the director immediately asked me if I was stressed about the bridge of my nose. So I said yes, and the director said it would be a good idea to add a nose bridge reduction if you are stressed. So, we proceeded with additional nose reduction. The director's personality is very meticulous, so I gained more trust from here!
And since my nose is very flat and spread out, before proceeding, he said that it would be better to have a pretty nose even if it is a little more natural than to have a very natural nose, so I asked him to proceed that way (I just left it up to him completely.)
As for the feeling of the surgery, I was very under anesthesia. I didn't receive it well, and this hospital didn't seem to use anesthesia to the point of fainting (the surgery would be over when I opened my eyes). I could feel my bones being cut, all the sounds, all the smells... There were times when it hurt. He said I was particularly bad at taking anesthesia.
This is what I want to tell you about surgery. While reducing the nostrils, he tied the nostrils, made me sit down (raised the bed), put his hands (lol) in my nostrils, and then made me lie down again.. He did this until he got the shape he wanted.. To be honest, I was out of my mind. It doesn't hurt, but if you keep repeating this, I'm so tired that my nostrils are fluttering, so please stop!! I almost screamed... Still, the surgery was done so meticulously that it seemed like the desired result was achieved...
The surgery lasted for almost five hours... When it was over, I asked the nurse why it usually takes this long... and she smiled and said she performed the surgery meticulously. I remember you answering that it was like that. The director was actually sweating after the surgery ㅠㅠ haha
Honestly, I have a very high tolerance for pain, so I didn't feel any pain after taking painkillers. It was just the discomfort everyone was talking about! During the recovery period, there was no pain at all when I removed the stitches or cotton from my nose. It was just a
stinging sensation. I had the splint and all the stitches removed on the 6th day, and there was no problem at all!
However, what I am worried about today, which is the 13th day, is that the swelling between the eyebrows is still severe or the front of my eyes look too crowded. I look like an avatar... I wonder if this will fall out. Except for the eyebrows, the profile and front of the nose are really good (especially the asymmetry, so I am satisfied) ) I'm very satisfied because it's the same as the review I first gave to that hospital... ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ It looks so much like an avatar ㅠㅠㅠ Please give some advice from seniors... The
photos are in order: before nose surgery, back view - selfie, after nose
surgery front view, side view (before and after) comparison).
Thank you~~ Please leave your questions in the comments.
So pretty!!
I also have big nose holes, so I was worried about the bridge of my nose.. I
was told that all I had to do was the tip of my nose, so I decided to do that.
