Many people have seen my nose You see, right?
I am writing a review of the reoperation in case there are people who have been waiting.
I had surgery on the 28th, so today is exactly the 10th day.
Unlike the first surgery, there was no swelling from the day of surgery, so I thought it would swell on the third day, but
there was no swelling, so after removing the stitches and taping,
I felt comfortable because I could just walk around without a mask.
There's still some redness, but I think it will get better over time...
I expected it to get ugly because my nose was so bad, but it's in really good condition.
There is no pain, and although I have molds on my ears, I only feel a stiff feeling when I press my ears
, and there has been almost no pain in my nose or ears since the first day.
There was no bruising or bleeding.
It is surprising that the condition can vary greatly depending on who performs the surgery.
The tip of her nose is a little fat now, but it feels like it was swollen after eating ramen, so
her family and friends say it looks almost the same as before.
Because there wasn't enough skin, it was difficult to raise the tip of the nose much in its current state, and
I didn't want nose bridge implants either in the beginning or now, so I just left it as is.
So, because the nose itself does not have a clean shape of the implant, it may not be pretty to others and may
look low, but I am really happy that it has been restored to almost resemble the original nose.
I remember being in tears when I first removed the tape and looked at it.
Also, because my previous nose was so bad... Even though
I tried my best, my nostrils are slightly asymmetrical, but
when viewed from the front, there is no major problem, so it's okay.
The teacher said it was disappointing, but I said it was okay lol. It really wasn't something to worry about, so I was okay with it.
(And when I looked up photos of my original nose, I noticed that the wings and lips were asymmetrical.)
When I took the photo, I saw that it was a normal nose that wasn't quite high on
the side. If you look at it from the side, the tip of the nose still feels clearer even though it's swollen compared to before reconstruction. .
The columella is normal, but it feels a little more protruding
than before, perhaps because it has descended a little further than the womb, but I think it will look a little more sunken in as the swelling goes down further.
I had been suffering from a bad nose shape for two years, so I thought, ‘Oh my gosh, what should I do?’ All I can say is
that I'm not as worried as I thought.
I've been to a lot of places for consultations and have found that ear cartilage is not an option. Only costal cartilage is possible. Even if it is restored, scars cannot be avoided.
Give up on the columella... I was hurt by the negative comments and cried a lot...
I'm really grateful to the teacher who cleaned up the scar on one side of the ear cartilage and made a straight columella.
Everyone who knows my condition is surprised to see it. I wonder if this is possible
It's like a god to me. Really.. haha
It's even amazing that the rhinitis that was severe from the previous surgery is a little less severe.
And even though cartilage has been transplanted into the columella, there is no tightness compared to the previous nose and the mouth can move more easily.
It was a very difficult surgery, and people around me tried to stop me for fear of further damage, but I was able to get on the operating table.
It's now the 10th day, so we'll have to wait and see, but as long as
it doesn't get inflamed, it won't get any worse than before
. After the first surgery, I made a hasty decision after learning about early removal, and ended up having a more damaged nose...
Removal isn't necessarily the answer. I think... I was very careful about the removal...
(Oh, by the way! I reconstructed it with support using ear cartilage + filling the missing part of the saddle nose, and I didn't put any implants on both the bridge and tip of the nose.)
Now, I'm going to live with this low but comfortable nose without worrying about it.
It was an expensive experience to pay a large amount of money and return to my own nose...
Now I'm going to stop working on my nose and focus on anti-aging.
I was wronged by a doctor, but in the end, the doctor was the one who was going to fix it, so I
didn't rush into surgery right away after I messed up the first surgery. I went to consultations from time to time for two years and looked for a doctor who was right for me.
Although that period was really difficult...
For those of you who are thinking a lot and having a hard time ahead of reoperation...
I hope you go through a lot and find a good surgical method and a good doctor so that you don't put too much strain on your body.
