[Short Nose] How do I do anesthesia for autologous rhinoplasty???

While I was talking about it, today I am going to have an autologous rib harvested at a plastic surgery clinic. I heard that they will do it under sedation instead of general anesthesia. Is that okay????? Wouldn’t it be dangerous??? If it's an autologous rib elsewhere, it's strange that general anesthesia is used and sedative anesthesia is used only here... Do you have autologous ribs with sedative anesthesia?? And when you get rhinoplasty, is it usually under sedation??
