 Hello! This is a review after 2 weeks of pin removal!
I had chin contouring surgery at another hospital about 2 years ago
. I didn't plan on getting pin removal surgery, but I felt a slight foreign body sensation and was worried about the pins coming out during the CT scan, so I got the pins removed!
I inquired at the hospital where I originally had the surgery, but the price range was too high, so I looked into it after reading Barbie Talk, and then I chose the hospital because I found out about the basics of contouring and it was trustworthy. They were having a sale, so I didn't have to worry about the price. There were no additional fees at all! ㅎㅎㅎ
The surgery time was relatively short, about 5 to 10 minutes, and the recovery time after the surgery was about 1 to 1.5 hours.
Of course, since the incision was redone, it was impossible to be completely painless, but it was much less painful than the contouring surgery.
The area around the incision was slightly sore.
Other than the anesthesia still having some effect, there was no major discomfort, so like other people's reviews, I was able to go about my daily life from the day of the surgery. ㅎㅎ There was almost no swelling on the first day, but it started to get tight from the second day and stayed swollen until the fourth day. I put an ice pack on it and went for a walk, and the major swelling went down within a week. Even though it was major swelling, it wasn't as swollen as when I had the contouring, it was about 20% of the size of the contouring. After
the pins were removed, I didn't feel any foreign body sensation like before, and I didn't have to worry about the CT scan! I feel relieved after the surgery and seeing the CT scan without pins. ㅠㅠ If you're thinking about getting the pins removed, don't delay and consult with the contouring hospital. The director is very skilled, and the director and the hospital staff are all very kind, so I felt good during the consultation and wasn't scared before the surgery!
