I had a nose job without implants 2 years ago, but it was absorbed a lot and the tip of my nose seemed to be drooping a lot, so I looked for a second surgery and ended up going to Sugar Plastic Surgery!
Good points:
• Sugar takes really good care of me. After the surgery, I came in every week for 2-3 weeks to have the director check me up, and I got scar injections and laser treatment for swelling.
• The director said that he only performs surgery on one patient a day. So it was a pleasant environment and it didn’t feel like a surgery factory, which was nice.
• My face has become much prettier after the surgery. The beak was shaved, the bridge of my nose, which was crooked, was partially corrected, the size of my bulbous nose was reduced a little, and the nostrils became a suitable size. As a result, my face looks cuter than before, and my impression is very comfortable. And the best part is that it doesn’t look like I had too much plastic surgery. I was worried that my nose would end up like a pincette nose or a saddle nose, but my nose looks natural with smooth and appropriately sized nostrils. I think I made the right decision to get plastic surgery.
Regrettable points:
• The initial contracted cost + I was told that if I use donated rib during the surgery, it would cost an additional 1.5 million won. I felt that the counselor had told me that it would most likely not be done during the consultation, but on the day of the surgery, the counselor called me again to inform me that there would be an additional cost if I used donated rib. Even then, he said that he would try to avoid additional costs, but I ended up paying the additional cost. I think the director had done it because it was necessary for the surgery, but I was upset because it was a considerable amount. If possible, I think it would be helpful for the patient to make a better decision if we could come to an agreement in the first contract. I heard that there would be an additional cost, but I tend to have a hope circuit that it would not apply to me.
• During the consultation, he told me that he would raise the height of the nose with a cotton swab and what to do, but I was disappointed that I had no idea what the expected nose style would be. I decided to have the surgery because I believed that the doctor would do it well as a professional after reading the reviews. This is because I thought that this would be the same no matter which hospital I went to. If I were to have surgery again, I would try my best to figure out at home what kind of nose would suit me and consult with the doctor thoroughly before getting the surgery. This was my mistake.
• I think it’s good that I didn’t feel like I had an excessive nose job because I had a non-implant surgery. However, I didn’t raise the bridge of my nose, but instead shaved the beak, reinforced it with ear cartilage, and reduced the nostrils, but the tip of my nose seems to have gone up steeply compared to the bridge of my nose. It has a semi-saddle nose shape rather than a straight nose. If you want a straight nose, I think it would be better to consult with the director. My current impression is that the tip of my nose is a bit higher than the bridge of my nose, so I’m not sure if it suits my face. However, since the swelling hasn’t completely gone down yet, I think it would be better to wait about a year before making a decision. People’s hearts are endlessly greedy, so even though I’ve become much prettier, I can’t help but imagine that my nose would have been prettier if I had made it in a different shape.
3-month review: I think the swelling has gone down a lot compared to 1 month ago :) When looking at it at a 45 degree angle, I sometimes feel like the tip of my nose is a little too high, but I think I'll know after 6 months. I haven't had any side effects yet and I'm doing fine!!
