The first time I had filler treatment,
I was reluctant
to put anything in my face,
but since I turned 30, I started getting wrinkles on my lips,
the ridges of my upper lip seemed too sharp, and
the corners of my mouth sagged, so
I went to get a cheap one for an event.
I called myself a person who would never fall for the deception of the counselor.
I rated it highly, but
it wasn't an overtly sales
pitch, but it
was about gently unpacking the benefits and sharing real-life reviews.
It made me want to put a good filler in my face. I
decided to put 1 cc of Belotero in, and
the pain was greater than I expected
during the treatment.
They say it bruises if you apply pressure,
but it felt like planting an earthworm inside with an injection.
When the earthworm went in, it felt like my
skin was getting thick
and it hurt, and I was scared because I had to stab it multiple times and inject
it in separate portions. In my head, I was saying, "It's nothing. I'm sleeping." I
was chanting this dozens of times,
starting on the left and then on the right.
It felt like blood was leaking
from the spot where I pierced the left injection,
as if spraying it with a syringe. It was okay
because I was sleeping and it was nothing
... My lips started getting heavy and
I looked in the mirror and it was so
cool! I was shocked because my lips were dry, but
when I left the hospital,
I saw that they were cute and swollen and voluminous, and
I liked them more than I expected.
At the end, I applied a lot of ointment, and
I liked it because it was softer and more shiny
than any lip balm.
Now, I don't even know if I had lip filler, so
I don't feel anything. There isn't much difference in the shape, but
the corners of my mouth seem to have taken shape, so
I'm satisfied and want to do it again.
