I decided to have surgery mainly because of 1. eyelid fat and 2. fierce eyes. I work in a service job, and I was criticized a few times for my fierce eyes, and it was so unfair. So I decided to retake the exam, and as a gentle dog, I also looked into getting a slit in the back. Then, I remembered that a long time ago, a YouTuber was talking about posterior epicanthoplasty, so while looking into it, I came across Kirin Plastic Surgery. I looked up all the reviews, and it turned out that these were the gorgeous eyes I wanted! So, I made a reservation for a consultation and visited, and I liked the private, soft lighting and the partition with a single sofa. I was very disappointed that the first consultation was short because I was nervous and forgot everything I wanted to say. So, I returned for a second consultation and was sure. I felt relieved after asking all the questions I was curious about! So I decided. During the surgery, I saw a double eyelid doctor and a posterior epicanthoplasty doctor. After double eyelid surgery, I waited in the recovery room for a while and went back to lie down on the operating table to have a posterior epicanthoplasty. It was uncomfortable, and the surgical needle was pulled out and had to be put back in, but they inserted it incorrectly. I remember getting stabbed in the arm 5 times… I remember the nurses asking me why I had to remove the needle when I went to have a lateral epicanthoplasty. If I hadn't taken the needle out after the surgery, I wouldn't have had to put it back in again. But I think the nurses didn't communicate well. After the surgery, I had severe red bruising and conjunctival edema, and when I got home, I had a lot of pain. It was so difficult that I couldn't open my eyes properly. It was cloudy and stuffy, but today, a week has passed since then. The conjunctival edema and bruising have recovered a lot, and there was no discomfort except for a tingling pain in the posterior slit when I looked at the left and right sides out of the corner of my eye. When I visited to remove the first stitches, the nurse pulled them out kindly and quickly, so it didn't hurt. Currently, my double eyelid line is thick and there is still some swelling, but I'm really looking forward to the ideal eye thickness I want in a few weeks! Looking at the pre-surgery photos, I wonder why I didn't do it sooner haha. I look forward to seeing more swelling go down soon!
