 My upper gums keep drying out... I turned my upper lip over and there was a bruise like a line...
 
Is this always like that to everyone...?? I'll show you a picture, so you can judge.

Last time I received a consultation before nose surgery, I was told that I was using muscles that other people don't use when I smile, so I just needed to cut them off, but I was wondering if those were bruises or that they were referring to the muscles under the nose...
 
Or is this the bruising that usually occurs after nose surgery?
