I have severe columella recession and contracture, so I am receiving a skin transplant to reconstruct the columella and am watching the progress. (If the columella reconstruction is successful, I plan to have a second surgery to reconstruct the contracted nasal cartilage and skin.)

It is now the 5th day, and every day I worry about whether I will die, I never dream of smoking or drinking, and I am careful about everything that touches my mouth. There are posts saying that I smoked and that it was okay to smoke. When I look at it, I feel so unfair and envious.

No matter how careful you are, some people will have side effects and some will not.

I don't even know if the after-care and efforts are meaningful. I think they'll just end up like crap.
