In two places, the nasal septum was so small that even using ear cartilage would not be enough, so they suggested using silicone + nasal septum + ear cartilage + donor ribs. In the other two places, they said there was no need to do that for the first surgery and asked why they were using donor ribs when they had ear cartilage... CT showed that the nasal septum was intact. It's really small, and the ears are also very small and soft, so I don't think it's for nothing that the places that recommend using donor ribs, but the director of those two places originally prefers to use donor ribs...
What do you guys think? This is my first surgery. Do you recommend not using a donor rib?
