I posted a post a few days ago and received a lot of help from reading the comments. Today, after receiving treatment at the hospital where I had the surgery and consulting with the doctor, I was at a crossroads with my choice. I'm writing this because I want to hear other people's opinions.
 
I had revision nose surgery a month and a half ago
 (8 years ago). First surgery - the nasal septum was erected with silicone, but the short, lifted, low nose was not corrected and there was even a slight contracture.)
 During this reoperation, the silicone was replaced and erected with donated costal cartilage. The shape of the nose was corrected more than before, so it was fine, but the
 upward pulling force was strong and forced the nose. Even though the wound at the incision site was raised and sutured,
 it did not heal for over a month and a half, and the day before when I pressed my nose, clear blood came out from the tip of the nose through an
 
open wound. According to the doctor who performed the surgery, there is no inflammation yet (I will be at the hospital for two or three days to treat the wound. It
 is said that the wound does not heal easily because blood and water fill the gap between the floating skin because the skin is not attached to each other because the skin that has little space is forcibly pulled up.
 So, I posted here the other day and asked if there was inflammation, and many people responded.
They told me to go
 to another hospital to get a CT scan
 
or an The main purpose of replacing the nose is to slightly lower the nose so that it can heal, and
 
the second is to use stem cells and autologous costal cartilage at another hospital connected to this hospital so that the shape of the nose is satisfactory and an environment where the skin heals due to the use of stem cells (? ) (since they don't do stem cells here, they connected me
 
to another hospital). They said the hospital would take responsibility for both methods. The decision was made on Monday, so I brought the opinion and photos to the connected hospital (that can do stem cells) and consulted with them. I'm telling you to decide.
 
The hospital I was referred to is 5ㅇㅇ.
 
So I'd like to ask you a few questions.
 
1. Which of those two methods is better? (I asked if the second method would result in a larger surgery, and he said that since both are reoperations anyway, he does not consider it to be a bigger surgery.)
 
2. Does using stem cells help a lot in nose wounds and tissue regeneration? Are there any side effects?
 
3. And is autologous costal cartilage somehow a safer material than donated costal cartilage?
 
4. Other people who have re-operations either remove it first or re-operate it a few months later, but for me, it is better to do it as soon as possible. They say it is better to do it as soon as possible because it is not yet severely inflamed and the wound is open. Is that okay?
 
5. I looked up 5ㅇㅇ and it seems like there are a lot of likes and dislikes. What do you think? (At least through a message..) Is there a director you can recommend?
 
First of all, I don't know if it's fortunate, but the hospital where I had the surgery tried to take responsibility instead of telling me they didn't know, so reoperation is very painful...but for now, I'm going to accept the situation calmly. Please leave a comment.
