I have a slightly bigger nose than others. The bridge of the nose is very thick and round, and the nostrils are not at all small and have a slight unevenness. The nose bridge is also on the low side. In short, I think it should be said that it is a nose that has all kinds of bad things. However, my nostril asymmetry is not that severe right now, I don't have to show my nostrils to anyone, and I don't have a complex about the bridge of my nose. I just want to make the tip of the thick and large nose and the tip of the nose thinner.
 
I've been under a bit of stress since high school, and now that I'm a college student, I'm thinking about having surgery.
 
I went to a hospital for a consultation in the winter right after I graduated from college, and they recommended silicone. I was averse to implants, and after receiving consultation, I realized that there were a lot of things that needed to be done, making it a major project. Even when I thought about it deeply, I was very scared, so I canceled the surgery reservation I had made without even thinking about it, two days after the consultation.
 
Then, I decided I wanted to have surgery again this summer, so I did some surgery and recently went to a different place for a consultation.
 
I liked it and felt it was much better than the previous hospital. The director told me about things that will improve after surgery and things that may inevitably get a little worse. And as I said before, I said I feel a bit repulsed by implants. Then, the director said, “If you use implants (silicon + septal cartilage, and if it is insufficient, you can use additional ear cartilage), you will have a nose with a shape of 100 points, to use an analogy, and if you use no implants, it will be 60 points. However, this does not mean that non-implants have no improvements at all. “There is definitely some improvement.” He said. I also understood. I've seen a lot of cases where a big nose + a puffy nose is definitely not an easy thing to do. Rather, it should be said that it is a difficult case. Later, when I had a consultation with the director, the director said that I could not decide whether to use implants even after the consultation, so I said that I could decide whether to use implants before the surgery, so it was okay as there was no difference in price. He said that, so I put it on hold to go to another place for further consultation. Currently, if I really have to have nose surgery, I'm thinking about doing it without implants.
 
Anyway, the conclusion of this long story is that while researching plastic surgery, regardless of whether implants are used or not, I saw a lot of stories saying that nose surgery is too dangerous, so I am really worried. Of course, I know that there are people who have had surgery without any side effects. On the contrary, I have seen many unfortunate and difficult cases such as contractures and reoperations.
 
I just wish my nose was prettier, but I feel so bad about taking the risk of getting plastic surgery on my face and other places, too. If I only had a pretty nose... the thought brings tears to my eyes, resentment, and irritation. I'm usually a very mentally strong person, but I also get depressed. Maybe it's because I'm a college student who just entered college. I have a lot of thoughts about wanting to become prettier.
