The consultation with the director was brief on the day of the surgery, before the surgery.
I showed him a photo of the shape I wanted, and he briefly reviewed it and said, “Okay,” and in the end,
the result did not turn out as I had hoped, but I was somehow satisfied because I wanted a naturally high nose.
It’s been 4 years and I’m doing well without any major issues.
However, if I were to do it again, I would research it better and go to a different hospital.
At other hospitals, they all used silicone, but here they always put silicone on! And they seem very busy, so they don't provide detailed advice, so they just sell their products and go somewhere else.. But if you look at those who did, the lines look pretty.
First of all, the waiting time was a bit long.
The director seemed to be busy, and the consultation was really completed within 3 minutes.
Is it professional? I didn't get that feeling.
Decomposed nose? He brought the same print and explained it with pictures, but it was easy to understand and explained calmly. He was a bit direct, but I actually liked it. The director was good, but the counseling director was pathetic.
He was confident and explained things quickly in a comfortable atmosphere, but I felt like he only explained the key points. I didn't want an osteotomy, but he said an osteotomy, so I couldn't decide on surgery.
Compared to consultations conducted at other hospitals, I felt that the explanation was somewhat lacking. Also, when they explained, 'For such and such a reason, the result will be like this,' I was very disappointed because it felt like there was a lack of supplementary explanation as to how many millimeters would be used or what style it would be. I thought he might have done that because he had a lot of experience in surgery and was confident in himself, but I guess I was disappointed because I tend to be confident in hospitals that are clear and detailed from the consultation. Also, I understood that even if I made a reservation, there would be a wait because the plastic surgery clinics were very busy, but I was a little disappointed that I had to wait over an hour beyond the reservation time and the consultation ended in less than 5 minutes..!
It's already been more than a year since I had trust in the director's consultation and performed the nose surgery.
I'm doing well without costal cartilage, just the septal cartilage and ear cartilage, without the tip of my nose falling off.
Thinking about it now, I didn't have any swelling like other people after the nose surgery. This is also thanks to the director's surgical skills. Is this a proportional result?
When I received the consultation, my thoughts and the doctor's opinions were different overall, so I looked into whether it was something that could be harmonized, and
I got the feeling that it was not possible. It's true that I should listen to the advice of a specialist, but because aesthetic standards are different,
I said I prefer non-implants, but in the end, I gave up after being told that I needed to apply at least 2 silicone.
