Last September, 6 months have passed since double jaw surgery at a university hospital. Post-correction is still in progress and will likely be completed before summer. The center lines of the upper and lower teeth are correct, but when photos are taken, the face still looks distorted due to asymmetry. Chewing on the right side has become a habit, and even though the bones are symmetrical after surgery, the degree of muscle development may vary, so this part is said to be unavoidable. Most of the minor swelling seems to have gone away now, but in the case of double jaw surgery, changes are said to occur up to 2 to 3 years, so I plan to wait and see with peace of mind.
