This is a review of 6 months since I received double jaw + facial contouring (3 types of cheekbones, square jaw, and front chin) from Dr. Seokjae Lee of Wai Mouth and Maxillofacial Surgery!
I have genetic malocclusion where my lower teeth protrude forward, so every time I go to the dentist for an orthodontic consultation, I hear that I need surgical correction in every area.
Actually, from other people's perspective, it wasn't that bad if you didn't pay attention to the face, and I also have a little bit of a problem in my lower jaw. It wasn't to the point where it was really noticeable that I had a protruding chin if I applied too much force, but...?! First of all, my square jaw was very developed, and if someone took a picture of me without my knowledge, my sloping jaw was clearly visible. And above all, functionally, when I did this, the middle part between my upper and lower teeth floated, so I couldn't cut the surface with my front teeth or bite into food. I couldn't do it..ㅜ As a result, it was very common for me to not chew food well and feel indigestion. However,
since double jaw surgery is a major surgery, I have been worried about it since I was 20, but I was not willing to have the surgery due to the cost and fear. After years of searching around campus cafes, I traveled all the way from the countryside to Seoul and received counseling at Waigu River. First of all, I liked the fact that it was a one-man director and that he performed one surgery per day. The director had a lot of experience in surgery, did not over-treat, and spoke realistically, so I trusted him and decided to go with Waigugang right away.
Now that 6 months have passed, I feel like my face has completely adapted and I am no longer concerned about swelling! I was so curious that I looked at the 3-month reviews and saw that even in 3 months, I could clearly see a lot of reduction...!!! It looks so natural. I have taken this position many times, and I am hearing a lot from people around me that the line next to my chin is getting prettier. Haha. As time goes by, my satisfaction is increasing!! Now, I am focusing more on correction rather than double jaw, and the director said that if only the jaw muscles were relaxed a little more, They said they would do it, so I'm just giving them a warm compress again. In terms of sensation, it's come back a lot compared to before, but it seems like there's still some gum area left, but I don't really care about it or it's interfering with my daily life, so I'm sure it will come back at some point as time passes. ㅎㅅㅎI am most satisfied with the change in my complexed lower abdomen, and I was able to get back to my daily routine faster than expected so I wasn't too worried before the surgery!
