Since I was in my third year of middle school, I noticed that my lower jaw was growing out, but I didn't pay any attention to it. Then, when I was 20 years old, I happened to see my side profile in a photo taken by a friend, and it bothered me so much that I looked into double jaw surgery. At first, double jaw surgery was a major surgery. I went to several dental clinics because I wanted to treat only with orthodontic treatment because it was expensive, but every place I went said it was a surgical case. I looked for an oral and maxillofacial surgeon that could perform double jaw surgery. I finally found this one after consulting at various hospitals in Seoul. The hospital was Y-Oral, and the director who consulted was very friendly and the director gave detailed and kind consultations, so I chose the hospital on the same day and decided to have double jaw surgery and type 2 contouring surgery - square jaw + front chin surgery and put in the down payment right away. Do you have any questions after choosing the hospital? It was convenient to be able to ask the counseling director via KakaoTalk about things I wanted to ask, and it was great that the director answered very kindly every time I asked a question! (Before surgery) With about a week left before surgery, I gathered the necessary supplies and waited for the surgery. Many reviews say to eat a lot of delicious food before surgery, but I didn't eat much because I didn't have an appetite, so make sure to eat a lot. Eat until your stomach explodes. I didn't eat anything. I'm completely regretting it... I'm watching a lot of YouTube mukbang videos. I brought a humidifier, lip balm, donut cushion, Otribean, mirror, etc. to prepare before surgery. The hospital had everything useful, so I used the cushion and humidifier at the hospital while I was hospitalized. ( Surgery day 11/28) On the day of the surgery, I arrived at the hospital with my mother, changed into hospital clothes, and finally consulted with the director before going into the operating room. I wasn't nervous or scared because I didn't feel like I was going to have surgery. I went into the operating room and lay down on the operating table. I fell asleep after hearing the words, “My arm is sore.” I felt like I had slept for a while, but when I woke up, I found myself in a hospital room. They kept waking me up saying that I needed to take the anesthesia off, but I kept falling asleep, I couldn’t breathe, and I kept waking up next to me. It was so hard. The only thing the director said was that I would feel better if I lasted for a day. I believed in it and endured it (the day was too long) (2nd day after surgery ~ discharged) In the morning, the nurse on duty came and removed the nose hose and urinal line, and the director removed the blood hose. I was really able to survive from the second day. If I was dazed, the nurse gave me ice packs. They kept bringing me medicine and giving me painkillers and other medicines at set times, so I took a nap and waited for discharge. On the morning of the discharge day, the nurse explained the post-surgery precautions in detail, gave me a prescription, and discharged me. I took a taxi and fell asleep right away, and took a shower when I got home. I was so refreshed. (4th, 5th, 6th, 7th days after surgery) After I was discharged from the hospital, my face swelled even more and my nose was clogged, so I couldn't sleep well (a stuffy nose usually clears in a week, but it has been blocked and cleared repeatedly since then) and I only ate New Care. I endured it. I used cold compresses until the 4th day and switched to warm compresses from the 5th day. I didn't feel dizzy or had any difficulty walking around, so I walked for 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes every day. Instead of pumpkin juice, I drank 2 packs of Gongsim Juice a day (Breakfast: 2 New Care pills + Gongsim Juice Lunch: Drink New Care pills and walk for 1 hour Dinner: 2 New Care pills + Gongsim Juice) I spent the day like this (8th day after surgery) ) I visited the hospital for the first time after surgery and disinfected my mouth and received laser treatment. The director told me to just brush my teeth gently with a toothbrush, so I started brushing my teeth gently from the 8th day (2nd week after surgery) I visited the hospital to remove the stitches and received laser treatment and cleaned my mouth before removing the stitches. I disinfected it, but it stung so much. It felt like it hurt more to disinfect than to remove the stitches... There are some parts that don't hurt and some that do, but I can tolerate it. I don't want to do it again. After removing the stitches, I use soft castella or cake milk. I ate it with my friend and I'm eating it without grinding the porridge. I'm going to try ramen and soft noodles soon. I met a friend for the first time in two weeks and we went for a walk together, and I was very happy when I heard that my face had become slimmer. I hope the remaining swelling goes away quickly.
