Hello,
I'm uploading a review after 20 years of double jaw surgery.
First, I got double jaw surgery in the winter of 2004. I had
orthodontic treatment for about 3 years starting from the first year of high school, and during the winter vacation after graduating,
the director of the orthodontic center told me that I needed to get double jaw surgery,
so I had the surgery at Wiz Hospital in Nonhyeon.
At that time, double jaw surgery was not widely known? It was not a surgery at all,
and my parents and my friends
had no idea
that it was such a dangerous surgery. After the surgery, I have never been
in
so much pain, suffering, or pain in my life
... Before the surgery, my lower jaw was misaligned and my chin
was so protruding that I couldn't bite
off noodles, and my appearance was a bit fierce
. Anyway, I didn't know what kind of surgery it was or where it was done, and
in the recovery room after the surgery, my nose was bleeding and there was gauze, and my chin and face were swollen and red... I thought I was going to faint from that evening. I kept crying because it was so painful
... How much could a 20-year-old hurt?
I don't know now, but at the time, it was 2 days after the surgery?
After that, the doctor laid me down and the nurses held my arms and
legs and
pressed down on my jaw with both hands. I was on the verge of fainting...
Anyway, after I was discharged, for about 6 months? A year?, thinking back,
I had residual swelling
and it was really painful and hard,
but if I had to do it again, I think I would do it again
. In high school, I had a really bad impression because of my prognathism, but
after the surgery, everyone was so kind to me. LOL.
I've seen a lot of articles
about side effects like double jaw, sagging, temporomandibular joint disorder, nerve damage, etc., but
I didn't have any. The only regret is that I lost some weight because my lower jaw was too low,
and when I didn't have fat on my face, my face was too small, so
I wanted to diet more, but I couldn't.
And when I gained weight, my double chin stood out more than others.. That
's about it
. And I called the hospital I had surgery at a few years ago to ask them something,
but at the time, they didn't register it on the computer, but they kept it in a file, and
they said
they couldn't check the file because the hospital had moved, so they couldn't check my information.
I remember it was Nonhyeon Wiz Wiz, but
I think it's changed to Wiz Dental Hospital now.
Anyway, yes, that's it. LOL.
