It's been 6 months and 7 months since I had double jaw + chin + square jaw surgery at Waigang on May 27th!!
It was so hard for the first 2 months after the surgery and I regretted not having it and just living the way it was, but now I regret not having done it sooner because the pain is only temporary..★
Now, after 6 months, I have no problem eating! I eat tripe, makchang, pork belly, and lamb! I can even chew lotus root when I eat mala xiangguo...! However, since I'm having braces, my teeth will hurt if I eat a lot of it! I recommend cutting them into smaller pieces!
I haven't tried nuts like almonds yet, but I think I could chew them with my molars!
The swelling was a bit there until 4 months? It's gone down now, but I think it actually looked better when it was a bit swollen at 4 months ㅋㅋ I originally had thin skin on my face, so... I'm thinking about getting facial fat grafting soon!! I was worried that I'd have paresthesia after the surgery, but I didn't have any paresthesia or anything right after the surgery. I could feel everything.
Now I don't even remember the pain after the surgery and I'm just happy.
