It’s been a year since my surgery!!
I still vividly remember the surgery I had around this time last year, but already a year has passed.
I remember how difficult it was after having double jaw surgery and type 2 contouring (front jaw, square jaw) surgery in July of last year. I even regretted it a little at the time! I am very satisfied now haha
I have a bit of asymmetry!!
When people ask me if I would go back and have surgery again last year, I tell them I would definitely do it again!! I'm very, very satisfied with that much!! Haha
To be honest, I can't remember my old face haha
Now, I feel the same way I did before the surgery, and I can chew well!
Sometimes, I go to the photo album and look at my face before surgery, and I feel like my asymmetry has really improved.
In particular, the last time I went to take an ID photo, I was so amazed to see my symmetrical face in the unedited version. The staff said my face was too small, but I felt really good haha.
Now I'm more concerned about sagging skin than swelling!
Since I have severe asymmetry, I shaved a lot of my facial bones on the left side, so I feel like recovery is a little bit slower than on the right side.
So, I'm going to try to manage it consistently!
And I want to look prettier faster, so I'm looking into laser treatment these days.
I'm thinking of getting laser treatment after orthodontics! Haha.
If you have concerns like me, I hope you don't worry any more and at least consult with Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery!!
