Disadvantages: After a few years of removing the retainer, the teeth become increasingly crooked (retention is long), teeth become yellow after orthodontic treatment, teeth rot easily so you need to brush them more often, cost of losing the retainer haha. .,If you have braces after becoming an adult, you will need to have teeth extracted. If you tighten the retainer, your teeth will be so painful that you will want to pull them out. + Severe nasolabial folds.
