It's been half a year since I had the square jaw + cheekbone contouring surgery at Cookie.
When I was looking for a contouring clinic, I referred to a lot of articles from other companies, so I'm writing down reviews
. I hated my face to begin with, so
I rarely took selfies or photos of myself...
What I felt was the biggest problem was my face shape, so I decided to have surgery.
The reason I chose Cookie was because I wanted a clear effect, so I searched the best hospitals for before and after results and made my decision.
On the day of the surgery, my face was so swollen that I didn't know if it was successful and it was very difficult. After about
a week, I felt that the swelling was subtly going down. I
heard that walking is good for reducing swelling, so I went for a walk
often, and it felt like the swelling was going down really quickly. The square jaw and cheekbones disappeared, and even though it was swollen, I could definitely feel the change in my bones for
about 3 weeks. As time went by, eating was the most uncomfortable and difficult thing, but
after about 3 weeks, it seemed to be getting better. I
didn't seem to feel any discomfort in my daily life, and they only paid attention to swelling management.
After about a month, a lot of swelling went down, and I felt that the swelling was going down differently on both sides.
Well, I thought it might be possible, so I just waited for it to go away. Haha.
After about three months, almost all of the major swelling went away
and I felt that my face shape had improved. It was a time when I started to be very satisfied.
I gained weight and it became rounder, but my face still had a doll-like shape. I thought it went well with no major side effects.
About half a year has passed and almost all of the swelling seems to have gone down, and all I need to do is remove the pin. There are no other side effects and the bone itself seems to have healed well, so I don't really care what I eat and am eating well. Except for having to endure it for a bit, everything was fine and I didn't feel much discomfort. I think I did a good job with the surgery and I'm very satisfied because it seems to have gone better than I wanted.
