While looking at several hospitals, I came across the director's blog and wanted to come here.
After reading Dr. Seong's sincere blog post, I thought he was a conscientious and sensible plastic surgeon, so I made an appointment. He didn't recommend this or that, but only pointed out the parts I really needed to suit my face.
So, after the consultation, I immediately made an appointment for surgery.
I had chin augmentation + cheekbone surgery.
For the first month after surgery, the swelling was very severe, so I took anti-swelling tea, walked often, and paid a lot of attention to managing the swelling. When I visited the hospital, I received a laser treatment for swelling and they told me not to worry because the swelling would slowly go down.
After three months, a lot of the swelling has gone down, but there is still some swelling in the cheek area.
I think it will take 6 months to a year for it to completely disappear.
When the tip of the chin was advanced by more than 8mm, it felt like the proportions of the face had changed significantly. I feel like I've grown from being young and youthful to being more mature. Even those around me have noticed a strange change, but there is no significant change that is noticeable enough to make people ask if I have lost weight. Rather, I like the natural change.
I will try my best to manage my swelling for the rest of this year!
