It has been about 9 months since I received surgery from Dr. Takho Kim at Taco at the end of June 2022!
I understand that you underwent type 1 contour mini V-line surgery to reduce the width of your chin with a T-bone and had cortical bone shaving performed. I wasn't really dissatisfied with my face shape, but my face was already long, but it was wide at the tip of my chin, which made me feel somewhat masculine and cold and old, which bothered me. The face I wanted was a cute, round, short face. While I was contemplating the surgery itself, I consulted with Director Kim Tak-ho and decided that I should have the surgery.
First of all, he didn't force me to have surgery at all, and the director showed me the expected results of the surgery using Photoshop, and it was exactly the same as the image I was aiming for! He was kind and I felt like he was very careful. I spent the
first month or so recovering after the surgery. There were quite a few discomforts, but after about 3 months, the discomfort was almost gone, and after about 6 months, it became so comfortable that I forgot that I had surgery!! It looks like the surgery was done very cleanly. The scars in my mouth are clean and not noticeable or bothersome. It looks natural, but the width of the chin has definitely narrowed, and the overall face feels short and round, so I am very satisfied!
Right now, all I can think is that I did the right thing haha. Thank you, director.
