There aren't many ear surgery reviews, so I'm leaving this in hopes that it will be helpful. I've always had a complex about my ears because I have both flat ears and flat ears. That's why I hated having my hair pulled over my ears, and really... I don't really believe in physiognomy, but I looked so humble. That's why I had surgery. I made the decision and had a lot of concerns because there wasn't much information about ear surgery. I went to two places, Mano and Minette, for consultations, but Minette's website actually has a rather old-fashioned image. So I guess I was a little worried after seeing that... haha. If you look at the site, the barrier to entry is a bit... high, but there were more reviews in the reviews section than I thought?! So, I decided to go for a consultation first. Mano Hospital's surgical method is to put an implant behind the ear, and the ear lobe is a sharp ear, as I remember back then, but since there is not much fat in the earlobe, I recommend filling it with filler. The implant melts over time, right? They say it will be absorbed, but I don't remember the surgery time for 1 or 2 hours? It seemed like it didn't take long, but I went to Minette for a consultation. They only used autologous ear cartilage without using any implants or fillers. I was surprised at how long the surgery took. It took 3 hours for a lying ear, 2 hours for a cut ear, and a total of 5 hours. They said that ear surgery is not a simple surgery. .. I was surprised that the cost was higher than I expected. After thinking about it, I decided on Minette. I thought it would be better to just pay more and have the surgery with only inner ear cartilage without an implant. I don't know if there is a place other than Minette that performs surgery with only autologous cartilage, but most of them are done with implants. There seem to be a lot of places, but there seem to be pros and cons. The doctor said he would explain that I had to sleep with ear protectors after surgery here, so I said yes, but the doctor was making something by cutting a paper cup with scissors. It was an ear protector. Anyway, I have to sleep with this for at least 3 months. I'm the type of person who has to sleep on my side at all times when I sleep. That's why I still have a hard time sleeping ㅜㅜ I didn't hear a detailed explanation about this before the surgery. But even if I had known, I would have had the surgery. The director said it was completely okay. They say it takes 6 months to make your ears look like mine, and it's at least 3 months to wear ear protectors when you sleep, but some people say they use them for 6 months... I think this is harder than I thought, so it's an issue that needs to be taken into consideration. If you use implants, you won't have to go this far, right? When I looked in the mirror, I saw that my ears were spread out like a cocoon, which made me laugh and feel embarrassed, but I spread my ears as much as possible, so now, but they said that 50-60% of the time I will lie down again in the next 6 months before it fully settles. Looking at it, I think it would be better if I lay down a little longer. Currently, I am satisfied. middle!!!! I can tuck my hair over my ears without any problem. Before that, I wasn't aware of the effect ears had on my facial features or the shape of my face, but after the surgery, my impression has definitely become softer. I used to be stressed about my angular face, but it seems to be less angular to some extent. It's amazing. The earlobes look great too!!!
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha... I'm wearing it and it's easy!
Even though I cut it from the back, it was obvious from the front. I also asked about that, but it will get better after a few months. I'm still wearing a band, but if I take this off, I'll apply the scar cream for 6 months.
Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha handmade ear protectors ha ha it's even funnier because it's made by a doctor ha ha ha But it must be uncomfortable 3 months... I wish you a speedy recovery
Yes haha But ear surgery is really not as simple as I thought... It's easy with just a knife ear, but my lying ears ㅜㅜ It takes quite a bit of time to completely become like my own ears..
Hello, the surgery went really well. Congratulations!
I'm also thinking about getting a Minette for lying down, but I wanted to ask if it's still being maintained well and if you're satisfied with it. I would appreciate it if you could reply.
Wow, the later period is really good. I was thinking about it, but I'm worried about the implants. Are you still maintaining them well?? I wonder how visible the scar is!
It turned out really well!! I'm jealous ㅜㅜ I also want to wear lying ears, but there's a lot of talk about going back ㅠㅠ Is it still maintained? Did you lie down about half as much as you did in a month? I like my ears to be visible haha
I’m also curious to see how many side effects and scars are visible!!
Hello, I consulted with three places, ㅁㄴㄸ, ㅁㄴ, and ㅍㄹㅍ, for my lying ears, and finally decided on ㅁㄴㄸ.
As you said, I have a lot of concerns because the surgery time is long and the recovery period is also long. If you're maintaining it well, I think you can tolerate the long recovery period. I'm curious whether you're maintaining it well and are satisfied with it.
Hey, I've been looking into it a lot because of the proboscis...
That's great!
I'm really curious about what the scars and current maintenance are like!
And is the cartilage manipulated with the cartilage inside the ear?
Or are they removing the costal cartilage?!?!
I hope you still like it... I'll be waiting for your comments.
Hello, this is my first time reading such a realistic post. Thank you so much.
I am also considering ear surgery without implants, but
I am curious about how it is now.
I have seen a lot of posts saying that it has come back, so
I am wondering if you would consider having the surgery again if you lie down again.
I will wait for your reply. Thank you in advance.
hello!! I left a comment before, but I came back here because I was curious about the current situation. I'm really curious about two things: whether it's still maintained and whether I can touch it like my original ear!!!
hello!! I also have a flat-eared complex... I'm thinking about three places: ㅁㄴㄸ, ㅁㄴ, and ㅍㄹㅍ, and I'm wondering if they're still maintained!! I wonder if the surgery would be done even if time went back and whether it would be done at the same hospital!!
Hello... I'm looking into lying down ears too, and I've read reviews and it seems like they're doing well, so I'm leaving a comment to ask... Are you still satisfied and recommend it?
Hello, I am planning to come back after getting implants and have them done at Minette this time. Are you maintaining them well? I wonder if your ears are maintaining their straightness.
hello ! I'm a complete snub-eared person. I'm only affiliated with my ears! I'm really curious about how much of the cartilage is maintained compared to the first time and what kind of autologous cartilage is used! ㅜ Everyone said he would come back.. Are the scars visible on the front? I see a lot of philtrum reduction scars, even in white! How satisfied are you with the surgery?
