By the second week, all bruising and major swelling had gone away, and so far, minor swelling has gone down. There are a total of 4 incisions, two on each side, of about 0.5 mm, and they can be easily covered with makeup. I've seen the effect on both side cheekbones and 45-degree cheekbones, but it doesn't drastically reduce the width like regular cheekbone reduction surgery.
