It's been 4 years since I had my cheek removed. Originally, my face was very fat and lacked elasticity, so I had deep cheeks removed right away in my early 20s. Even though I wasn't fat, my face looked 10kg heavier than my actual weight. After it was removed, my left side suffered from swelling as hard as a baseball. On the right side there was almost no swelling, whereas on the left side there was a lot of swelling and it took about 2 months for it to go down? Thanks to this, I think I've been wearing Biobond for about a year, and perhaps because my senses were damaged and then recovered, compared to my right cheek, which is fine, my left cheek still feels a bit tingly when I puff on it or push the cheek with my tongue. This is probably permanent damage. Now, 4 years later, the volume on both sides is similar, but the elasticity is asymmetrically less on the left side. The hospital said there was nothing they could do about it, so they just told us to wait. Still, after about 4 years, it is much better than the past appearance. However, I feel now that the area where the deep cheeks have fallen out needs elasticity care.
