Before the surgery, I only have photos taken with my Snow
because of my complex about my face shape
. ㅠ I attached candid photos taken at the hospital because I wanted an objective judgment..ㅎ
Anyway, I focused on contouring and management and went on a strict diet, and
my jawline disappeared and I think my contour looks better, so I'm writing a review
. 1. First, the reason I got the surgery.
Before the surgery, I had really low self-esteem about my appearance, and I
always wore a mask or put on some makeup and lip balm when I went to the convenience store in front of my house.
I was what is commonly called a complete appearance diseaseㅎ
Since my biggest complex was my face shape,
I didn't ask my parents for money. I
saved up a little bit of allowance since I was in high school and saved up the money
I earned from part-time jobs. As soon as the savings matured, I wanted to give myself a gift for all the hard work,
so I looked into contouring and went to many consultations.
2. Hospitals I looked into
I decided to get the surgery, but I had to find a hospital I looked into....
I didn't know much about surgical methods, and
I was really a complete novice. I searched through apps and YouTube, and
when I saw which surgery would be right for me,
I studied really hard to see if it was a safe hospital, etc.
I set my own standards and narrowed down a few hospitals.
3. I chose a hospital after setting some strict criteria,
such as a place that has triple fixation
(I looked for it but there aren't many),
a place that can readily disclose real-time monitoring or CCTV,
a place with an anesthesiologist
on staff, a hospital with only one contouring specialist,
a place that stocks drugs like Dantrium, etc. 3. About the pain^^
Contouring surgery.. Even if you just look at the surgery itself, it seems like it would hurt, right?
Yeah.. it hurtsㅠ It really hurts. It's plastic surgery and they're shaving bones, so it's strange that it doesn't hurt.
I tend to be a bit of a prankster, but I cried
because it hurt so much after waking up from anesthesia.
First of all, my throat got so dry while I was under general anesthesia
that it felt like my throat was going to tear apart.... For about 6 hours after the surgery, it hurt so much that I just wanted to pass out.
But after 6 hours, I got better.
The next day, I felt completely fine, so my mom
even jokingly suspected that I was joking yesterday. LOL But I really was fine the next day.
4. The recovery after surgery
doesn't end after the surgery; that's when it really starts
. Now, it's more of a fight with food than pain.. It might be hard for people with a big appetite.
At first, I was like a newborn;; I just slept, but
after the stitches were removed, I put on my running shoes and
went for a walk whenever I had time. Since I walked a lot, the swelling definitely went down a lot
. I think all the swelling and stuff are just commercials..
If you just stick to the basics, the swelling will all go down
. To be honest, I had a really bad complex about my appearance, and
although I'm satisfied with the surgery,
I don't welcome my family or friends with open arms if they ask me if I should get a contouring surgery.
Because surgery is so risky, especially bone-shaving surgery,
I think it's something I have to think hard about and decide for myself without being swayed by what other people say!
Really, after thinking about it hundreds of times, you still want to get a contouring procedure?
Then I'd tell you to visit as many hospitals as possible for consultations.
Don't make a hasty decision just because you're tempted by looking at reviews and photos, but
I hope you'll think of yourself as a specialist like me(?)
and study hard by searching through apps and YouTube...
