It's been a month since I had chin tip advancement surgery. It's been a month and a half now, but the picture is exactly a month. The major swelling has gone down, but the swelling in the cheekbone surgery area and chin hasn't gone down. This minor swelling should go down quickly, but it's still far away. My cheekbone, temple, cheek, chin, and chin near my neck are all swollen and sore, so it's still hard to eat. They said my jaw would open as time goes by, but it's been a month and my jaw is still only wide enough to fit two fingers in, and my mouth is unnatural, so my pronunciation and mouth shape are weird when I talk, and I keep chewing my mouth, so my mouth is swollen. There are too many disadvantages compared to the advantages, so it's annoying, and the only good thing is that I have a new chin, but if I keep living like this, I'll go crazy. My mouth doesn't move properly and doesn't open well. It's so stressful to talk and laugh, and it's still swollen, so eating and brushing my teeth are so painful. Since my mouth won't open, I keep chewing and it's worn out. I have an important appointment. I heard from the doctor that the swelling will almost completely go down in two weeks and completely go down in three weeks. Why did I believe that? I feel like it will be hard to live properly for two months after the surgery, so if you have an important appointment, do it six months in advance.
