Since it is a major surgery that involves cutting bones, I hope it will be of some help to those who have many concerns like me.
I usually had a lot of stress about my 45-degree cheekbone and side cheekbones. In fact, I received consultations at other places a few years ago, but I didn’t have the courage, so I forgot about it for a while and then decided to look it up.
I had the surgery at Goguryeo Jeongseok,
and the reviews were detailed and good, and since it was a relatively new hospital, I thought they would do a good job, so I went there thinking I would just get a consultation.
The consultation room managers were very kind, and even though it was just a preliminary consultation, it was nice to be able to meet Director Oh Jeongseok and talk in more detail. ㅎㅎ
I didn’t know, but the director of the anesthesia department was also there. The surgery cost was the same without any additional charges!
It was my first time here, but I had 200% trust in him, so I made an appointment for the surgery on the same day.
I was hooked. I am very suspicious and sensitive by nature, but he was not harsh
at all. As you can see after talking to him a few times, the director is a very honest and straightforward person, and he doesn't seem to be the type to say nice things. I really trust him.
The consulting director was also very kind and treated me like an older sister without any pretense.
A few years ago, I was intimidated by the director at the place I consulted with because he was a bit arrogant, but the director here is really sincere and makes me feel comfortable.
I thought it would take a few weeks for the surgery, but he said it was possible for next week, so I made an appointment for the morning of September 28th without delay. According to the reviews, the director's experience is also very good.
Below is a review I wrote over the course of two days just in case.
When I was being put under anesthesia, the anesthesiologist told me to breathe deeply, but the anesthesia didn't work even after a few seconds. So I thought, 'Maybe I have a constitution that can't be anesthetized like Noh Hong-chul? I opened my eyes wondering 'what should I do' and was in the recovery room..
This was my first surgery ever so I couldn't sleep properly the night before because I had so many thoughts about what
would happen if something bad happened during the surgery, but luckily it all ended safely. When I was consulting with the director before going into the surgery, I showed him a picture of a celebrity I wanted to see and he said it was better not to do it and that it would be better not to regret having the surgery anyway. But guess what? I really like the world. I feel like I was born again. If I had done what I originally wanted to do, I would have really regretted it.
I remember the doctor coming in the middle of the recovery room while I was half-asleep and the anesthesia was wearing off and telling me that I did my best. He said the surgery was over quickly. I am not good with anesthesia, and it hurt so much at first that I regretted it. But when I came home and looked in the mirror, I could feel that my bones had shrunk even though the swelling was gone, so I felt better. My eyes looked bigger because my cheekbones had shrunk. Other people said that it was okay on the first day, but I don't know if my body type is different, but mine was swollen and sore from the first day.
It hurts less than yesterday. I put on an ice pack and took medicine, so it's definitely okay. The right side of my face didn't move yesterday, but it's gradually loosening up. I looked up reviews of cheekbone surgery on YouTube, and there were people who got blood bags and they drew on their faces with a pen and had the surgery, but there was nothing like that here. It seemed much better than other people, so I was relieved. After
comparing reviews, it seems that Director Oh Jeong-seok is really good.

The swelling went down every day for two weeks, and the cheekbone scar is really not noticeable
. I asked and they said it's not visible at all.
The bruise is only in the second week and it's light so I can hide it with makeup. I'm satisfied because the swelling seems to have gone down a lot compared to the effort I put in. Listening to the director and getting the cheekbone done was really a stroke of genius. I was worried that it would be too noticeable but I didn't have to worry at all and it looks more natural as the swelling goes down! My 45 degree cheekbone protruded a lot and I looked really stubborn, but my impression looks better now and my side cheekbones have gone down a lot so I'm so happy ㅎㅎ
You're being so honest so please come and show off now my mouth hurts ㅋㅋ It's been a concern my whole life, but I think I have to live every day bowing in the direction of the basic contouring. Thank you!
