I've had a complex about facial asymmetry for a long time, so I looked into Botox for square jaw.
However, my face shape is that the left side of my face is wider than the right, and
I also have a severe square jaw. The position of the cheekbones on the right and left and the degree to which the cheekbones protrude are different, so the contour 3 I decided to have a longitudinal surgery.
I went to two hospitals in Seoul for consultations with Kangnam. The director of Y Oral Facial Surgery told me that the symmetry may not be perfectly symmetrical and even told me about the side effects that may occur after the surgery, so I gained more trust in the surgery, and
even my parents. Since it was a major surgery, I was worried about CCTV, but they said I could watch CCTV in real time, so there was no reason not to have the surgery here.
I fasted for 8 hours and had a final consultation with the doctor before the surgery. I went in for the surgery.
I think the surgery took about 2 hours and 30 minutes to 3 hours!
When I closed and opened my eyes, the surgery was over.
When the surgery was over, I had to wake up from the anesthesia, so she
told me to take a deep breath. It was very cold after the general anesthesia. But it got better over time. When
I got anesthesia, I always felt very uncomfortable, so the nurse told me to take a deep breath. He gave me medicine to make me feel better and came by often, even into the early morning, to change the ice pack and ask if I was okay! I was so grateful that you were so kind
. By the 4th day after the surgery, there was really a lot of swelling..
When I was discharged from the hospital, there was no swelling and no bruises at all, so I thought, "Oh, I'll be fine!",,,,No... The bruising wasn't severe and yellow
was visible under my eyes and on my front chin for about the 2nd day. I
continued to take porridge and medicine and went for a 30-minute walk in the evening. Then, on the 7th day, I went to the hospital to have my cheekbone stitches removed, swelling care, and my mouth disinfected. I also got a
CT scan. He took pictures and showed me before and after surgery, and I wanted to see the swelling go down quickly!
<2 weeks after surgery>
It's been 2 weeks since the surgery, and it's
still swollen so it looks a little unnatural, but I can go about my daily life! There is still a bit of swelling in my mouth, which is uncomfortable, but it seems to have gone down since it was a week
ago. Also, when I looked from the side, it looked like I had no chin before the surgery, but now I am satisfied because it is not flat when I look at it from the side. I heard that the big swelling will go away after a month, so I want to see it soon
. It's still there, but I can see the difference in my facial lines, so I'm satisfied because I feel like I'm motivated to take better care of the swelling to get rid of it quickly rather than being impatient.
