I will attach photos later if necessary. It has been 8 months since my cheek reduction surgery. Before the surgery, the director answered most of the questions he had prepared before the surgery to see if they were bothersome, but he confidently said that he would make sure I heard people say I was pretty after the surgery without worrying about nonunion or sagging cheeks. Because they had so many years of experience and advertised that they were accident-free, I was also attracted to the price (during the consultation, I asked why it was cheap, but they didn't give me a detailed answer, saying it was because they spent less on marketing or something), and since they were from Asan Medical Center, I trusted them and left it to them. But the result was terrible for Johnna. First of all, she was young and had good skin elasticity. But after the surgery, I got really bad wrinkles that weren't there before. Thanks to this, my boyfriend suddenly says I look older. I always pinch the bulldog meat. But even that, they love me and make fun of me all the time lol Don’t laugh at this. You can see with the naked eye that your skin has sagged down so much. Immediately after the surgery, when swelling would normally not be noticeable yet, the Indian wrinkles appeared characteristically long under the cheekbones even when there was significant swelling (they were not present before the surgery). No matter what anyone says, it seems to be due to the detachment of the retaining ligaments during the surgery. During the post-surgery consultation, the director asked if the retaining ligament had been dissected, and he said there was minimal dissection, but looking at the results, that made no sense. What made me certain of this was that 5 days after the surgery, I tried to fill my cheeks with air, and every time I put air in my mouth, my cheeks puffed up. I was worried so I inquired at the hospital and they said it was because the area where the peeling was removed was filled with air. This means that the peeling was done to the point that the wind hit the front cheek area, not even the cheek area, so it was not minimal peeling. People around me said I looked prettier, but everyone I saw a few months after the surgery looked at my face and said, 'What's wrong with your face?!' 'Why are you so thin?' These are the reactions. Well, it's not even 6 years, it's not even 1 year yet, but if the sagging is already at this level at this age, I'm not sure what the future will be like... The sagging cheeks vary slightly depending on the degree of detachment of the retaining ligaments, but I think it's an inevitable result rather than a side effect due to the nature of the surgery. Even though I chose it, the side effects other than sagging cheeks are unbearably painful and upsetting. The side effects I got after cheekbone reduction surgery were nonunion, noise when pressed near the cheekbones, staircase phenomenon in the temples and back cheekbones, recurrence and no effect (only the side cheekbones are still protruding. They are getting bigger than in the early days after surgery), and forehead nerve damage (forehead nerve damage). I didn't move at all for two months. Thanks to that, my double eyelids were loosened. Of course, I've recovered now, and the hospital had informed me in advance that this symptom would occur, but when I looked at the blog of a contour specialist at another hospital, I read that damage to the forehead nerve from cheekbone surgery is really rare and the probability is low. Now that I've seen it, I'm having more doubts about the surgical technique), severe headaches for 5 months after the surgery, I don't know if it's due to cheekbone reduction, but 7 months after the surgery, I suddenly lost my sense of smell (not corona), and even considering what I expected, my cheeks were too saggy for my age and period. And Indian wrinkles appeared, the lower canal became dull, and the eyes got smaller (after the surgery, the swelling went down, and the outline of the double eyelid that was thinned 9 months before the cheekbone surgery suddenly became thinner, the left side became completely loose, and the back of the eyelid got stuck all of a sudden after the surgery). Wouldn’t side effects like this be really annoying? During the 1-month follow-up consultation, I told her that there was no effect on the front and that the side cheeks were the same, but the director explained that it was due to swelling. But I'm not a fool, and it's my face. Why don't I feel for myself whether it's swelling or not and then go to the hospital and talk about it? The lateral radial bone protrudes in a strange, stepped fashion and feels hard to the touch, and it is said to be swollen. It's so absurd that I just laugh. I felt that the doctors were more irresponsible than I thought. The sagging cheeks were very visible even when there was swelling, so I asked the doctor if the swelling would go down and reduce the appearance of Indian wrinkles and puffy cheeks, and the doctor said: People who have severe sagging cheeks after surgery have their eyes pulled down and saggy because of the sagging cheeks, and I am still old. I thought it would be okay since I was young...... ????????? I'm worried about sagging cheeks before the surgery. Shouldn't I have told them when they asked me if I was okay? The 45 degree angle was definitely reduced, and surprisingly there was no swelling or bruising after the surgery. But isn’t the patient’s needs and effectiveness more important than the surgery time? Even 45 degrees was extremely stressful for me, but more than anything, because of the protruding side beams on my face, I had to cleverly cover only the side beams with my hair. I was very good at putting on makeup, and other than my cheekbones, I didn't have any special features, so I was often told that I was pretty before the surgery, and I received quite a few nominations. I went to two more hospitals for consultations, and the doctors all said that it was a face shape that would be really good for surgery and that even if the cheekbones were reduced, the face would become really prettier. So, in some hospitals, they told people to go to their hospital to have the face type that would give good results, and the director even offered a discount that went beyond the app discount. This was the last consultation, and it was my fault for being swayed by the director's consultation and recommendation to make a reservation (he strongly told me that if I didn't make a decision now, there would be no further discounts offered. He was so harsh that I had to pay a deposit because I only had one hour left). I feel foolish for working at this hospital based solely on my experience. The price was only 100,000 to 300,000 won different from the estimates received from other hospitals. A graduate from Asan Medical Center was advertised as a one-person clinic specializing in facial contouring with no accidents for 20 years, but here are the results. Even after the surgery, the director did not contact me and did not even call me for consultation after 6 months. My sideburn scars are also getting worse~~~ I applied expensive scar ointment 3 times until it was all gone, but it was still so bad that anyone would notice it. I'll take all the side effects, but if I'm going to take on those side effects, shouldn't I at least see the effects?????? I was so angry that I had a tantrum... I was stressed out every time I looked in the mirror... When I typed in the director of that hospital on Google, black and side effects appeared in related search terms. Before the surgery, there were a couple of reviews saying that I went to DC with that director and ruined my life, but they were deleted at some point. For your reference, here, before undergoing surgery, you will sign a consent form stating that you agree to legal action if you disclose any side effects or complaints about the surgery on the Internet, apps, communities, etc., as well as a pledge not to disclose the information. I should have run it from the time I wrote that, but I'm just so fucking mad at myself. I might be at a disadvantage for this post. But I think I should use it for the public good and to eliminate victims like me. The review photos were also heavily photoshopped by the hospital's marketing team. I didn't even know that and believed them after seeing the review photos. I definitely sent the original photo taken with the iPhone's standard camera, but they sent me a Photoshopped photo with the cheekbones reduced further and said I would upload this.
