It has been 6 months since I received advancement surgery (mini V-line) at Taco Plastic Surgery, so I would like to write a review.
1. Surgery
I don't remember the surgical procedure because of the anesthesia, and the nurses and doctors were very kind. For
3 days after the surgery, my neck hurt like crazy due to the aftereffects of general anesthesia. It will get better when you turn on the humidifier, so be sure to prepare a humidifier. Bone surgery For its size, there is very little swelling. From day 10 onwards, I was able to go about my daily life without a mask.
2. Body volume?
The thing I was most worried about before undergoing chin surgery was that the tip of my chin would stick out sharply and the bottom of the sides of my mouth would look dirty. It was something to do. As you can see in the picture, I had a very severe chin... Contrary to concerns, the lack of body volume, which is considered a major drawback of advancement surgery, did not appear, perhaps thanks to the long osteotomy line. All photos have not been retouched in any way other than filters. I think you can judge by looking at the pictures.
3. Jaw stiffness and sensory abnormality
3-1 To be honest, jaw stiffness lasts for up to 2 months. I'm not sure if I should call this a lump in my chin, but it wasn't a symptom of a stiff and heavy jaw like other people often say, and there was a phenomenon where horizontal lines appeared on my chin depending on the movement of my mouth every time I spoke. Now, 6 months later, of course, when I put pressure on my lip, a few wrinkles appear, but the horizontal wrinkles that appear when I speak are completely gone, and I feel that the existing wrinkles are also getting better as the days go by, so I don't have to worry. Also, even if a long time had passed since the surgery, when I contacted the hospital via KakaoTalk, it was good that the directors relayed the information that the director had answered directly.
3-2 My senses have returned to 100% after 6 months.
Um...I don't have anything more to say about this haha... It's the same as before. I think we'll have to wait until 3 months. Anyway, there may be a difference in timing, but the nerves will come back, so I don't think you need to worry too much. I also continued to feel like I had applied anesthetic cream to the area until the second month, and the director emphasized safety, so I believed it and waited.
4. I didn't post a comparison
photo with the filler and satisfaction with the surgery, but honestly, my face looked great after the chinless filler treatment. . There were no side effects from the chin filler within 3 years, and the beautiful shape was maintained without spreading, so the only reason I considered advancement surgery was because of its permanence. So, during the pre-consultation, I decided to have the surgery after hearing the doctor's honest advice that even though the shape may be less than that of filler, it can create a sufficiently harmonious face. After the surgery, I also felt that the amount of advancement and shape was as pretty as if it had been created by the filler. It's been a long time. However, the results of the advancement surgery were satisfactory as shown in the photos, and more than anything, I was very happy that I did not have to worry about deformation, so ultimately, I was much more satisfied with the surgery. In particular, those who dislike sharp and artificial feelings will be more satisfied.
5. In conclusion,
bone surgery is a surgery that requires extreme caution, and among the options for correcting the chin, fillers, fat grafting, and advancement increase the burden in that order, so I think there will be many people who are worried about whether they should even have bone surgery. It's possible. As someone who has thought about various alternatives for a long time, I hope that this article will help those who are considering it to make a satisfactory decision.
I went forward by 6mm and it was reduced as much as possible, but after seeing it as if it was going to be insufficient, he said to think about fat transplantation for the amount of progress that was lacking, but when I looked at it, I got a clear chin! Even if it's not this, I think it's natural and okay, so I'm thinking about fat transplant!
