Natural is the trend now, but... when I was in my early 20s, a plump forehead was pretty popular.
So I got a forehead implant for cosmetic purposes because I wanted a pretty line, and although I wasn't 100% satisfied,
I was satisfied with it for 10 years.
But as time went by, the shape changed a little and I didn't have any inconveniences in my life, but I think I thought a lot about removing the implant because the beauty trend changed and I felt that the round shape made my impression stronger.
Usually, when you look at people who get fillers or implants removed, they have a lot of side effects, right?
But I didn't have that. Rather than symptoms like blood or water in my forehead or a lumpy forehead,
I think the biggest reason for removing it was my forehead getting wider as I got older, the unnatural line caused by the implant, and my eyes constantly looking up at my forehead.
People who know about implant removal know that there aren't many hospitals that focus on removal,
and the cost is really high... Compared to other surgeries, it's expensive, and I was worried that the surgery wouldn't go well, so I looked into it a lot.
The hospital where I had my surgery was famous for its director, and he also mentioned fillers and implant removal. So I didn't really care about forehead augmentation, but after consulting with the director, he said that my eyes were stuffy and my forehead wrinkled, and these were symptoms that could appear as the implants went down. ^^
You can see if you look at my eyes before the surgery. My eyes are big, but they look stuffy.. The line looks really narrow, and the distance between my eyebrows is also narrow. They said that this could be improved with forehead augmentation, so I thought about it and decided to do it. ㅎㅎ They
said that forehead augmentation can make your forehead longer, so I also had a reduction while I was at it.
As you can see in the picture, the swelling has definitely gone down a lot after about two months and two weeks~
I think forehead augmentation is actually one of the surgeries that you have to look at for a long time. It's definitely not a surgery to take lightly. So I wish people in their early or mid 20s, who are still very young, would think a little more carefully ^^
First, let me briefly talk about the side effects I experienced.
Headache / loss of sensation / tingling scalp / bumpy forehead / sore eyes..
First of all, the headache was really, really bad. I really thought the surgery was wrong.. It lasted for quite a while.. I heard that it doesn't just pull the skin, but it also pulls up the muscles and other things, so it's natural to feel pain.. I really cried when I called the director ㅎㅎ...
And forehead reduction doesn't hurt much, but the incision line is big, so you have to take good care of the scar. I was less worried because they said they would avoid the hair follicles where the scalp grows, but I was scared because the incision line was bigger than I thought. It's not really noticeable now.. Hair hasn't grown much between the lines yet ^^~~
Anyway, I wanted to write it so that it looks good, but it's disorganized ~~ Finally, I'll add before/after pictures! The hospital is listed, but if you have any further questions, please send me a message or leave a comment ^^
