I had surgery on October 1st from Director Jang Wook of Objet Plastic Surgery. It's been exactly a month since I had the surgery.
My under-eye area was bulging and I had dark circles, but they disappeared after the surgery, so I'm satisfied.
The swelling wasn't that bad after the surgery, but when I took off the tape on the 4th day after the surgery, there was a yellow bruise. The bruise lasted for more than 3 weeks. This may vary from person to person, but looking at the reviews, I think it lasted a long time for me.
Also, my eyes became sharper and slightly smaller, so I was worried.
So I asked about it on KakaoTalk, and they said that the bulge completely went down and that my eyes would return to their original shape after 3-6 months. It's slowly returning.
I think I'd be so, so satisfied if that part returned!
I heard that fine wrinkles can form when the bulging area under my eyes becomes flatter, but I do get wrinkles when I smile more than before. I think there's nothing I can do about that. But even if I could go back to how I was before the surgery, I'd still get the surgery! If you hate wrinkles more, you don't have to have surgery, but if you are concerned about dark circles and fat under your eyes, you can choose surgery!
