For the past 5~6 years, people have been telling me that I look tired all the time. They said that because of my bulging eye bags or dark circles under my eyes. No matter how well I slept, I would hear the same thing every time, so I started to get stressed. On days when my bags were particularly bulging, I would even develop social phobia, and I thought I couldn’t let this stress keep going. After reading a lot about lower eyelid fat repositioning, I found Objet Plastic Surgery, and decided to consult with other famous doctors, ranking them 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. The first place I went to was Objet Plastic Surgery. After consulting with the consulting director, I met the doctor and told him about my biggest concerns. He said that if I had lower eyelid fat repositioning, dual lower eyelid surgery (lower eyelid surgery from the middle of the eye to the tail of the eye), and frontal fat grafting, my stress would almost disappear. I was very scared of the surgery, but the doctor said it was a very easy surgery that wouldn't even be a surgery, and he kindly and respectfully explained all the things I was curious about, so I was able to resolve all my questions. I thought I didn't need to go to the second or third-choice hospital for consultation. I was so confident that I made a firm decision to get the surgery from Dr. Kim Hyun-jo.
On the first day of the surgery, when I met the doctor, he held up a mirror to me and carefully checked and designed my under-eye area. Areas where fat was concentrated, areas where there were sunken areas, etc. He didn't forget to ask if I had any questions and confirmed everything. After he checked the designed area under my eyes again while I was lying on the operating room bed, I felt like I was on a trip to another world. In between, I could hear the doctor's voice and radio music, so I asked, "Doctor, is the surgery going well so far?" and "You must be tired, but please take care of me until the end~" Hahahaha. The surgery took about 2 hours and I came home. Even though it was the first day, I didn't feel much pain. There was a strong bandage on my lower eyelid to prevent swelling, and there was flesh-colored tape, so it was fine. I took my medication on time (I set an alarm to take my medication~ I'm a good patient, lol), didn't do anything I was told not to do, and diligently used hot and cold compresses. I slept with my back straight, so I woke up a lot during the night, but I was able to maintain a good condition.
On the 5th day of the surgery, I took off the stitches and the strong bandage that was put on to prevent swelling, and there was a faint bruise under my eye. In my case, I think it swelled a lot on the 5th day. I think it swelled a lot when I took off the bandage that was put on to prevent swelling... At that time, cold compresses and walking were very important. I can testify that the swelling went down a lot after I went for a walk. There is no need to overdo the cold compress. When the skin tissue becomes numb, I take it off, and when the skin returns to its original state, I do the compress. It is not the best to just do it a lot~ It is very important!! ^^ I went for walks often during this time. As expected, walking really helped reduce the swelling. The bruises were enough to be covered up with makeup. On the 10th day, I met an acquaintance and had coffee, but they didn't even ask what I did. I even attended a family event, but no one recognized me... I was disappointed because it looked so natural. ^^
After a month, my coworkers asked me what I did to my face to make it so tight.. They were all asking if I had a lifting. Anyway, I feel like I am living a new life now. The bulging under my eyes that used to be so stressful while getting ready for work every morning are gone. I don't have to look for thick horn-rimmed glasses to hide my ugly appearance. Now I can confidently take off my glasses and go out. More than anything, I like myself, so I enjoy checking my under-eye area in the mirror when I wake up in the morning. Rather, I want to worry and consult about what to do about other areas... ^^
It's been exactly two months since the surgery and I'm quite satisfied and I'm really, really grateful to Director Kim Hyun-jo and Director Kim Nam-hee who performed the surgery. I made an appointment for a retouch on the autologous fat grafting on my cheekbone area in the last week of March. I'm also thinking that the part that was adhered to my flesh will be filled in at that time, so I'm really happy. The doctor's expertise, the warmth of not exploiting the patient's pain for commercial gain, all of it makes me think this is the best hospital.
I'm strongly recommending it to my acquaintances~~
