I had my first surgery through incision 10 years ago, and it healed quickly, so I had AS again a year later. I was worried because the line was a bit thick, and
recently, I was shocked when people around me asked me why it still feels like it was yesterday when it's been 10 years since I had double surgery, so I decided to have surgery again.
If it fails because it's a revision surgery, I chose this hospital after consulting with about 7 hospitals because I thought it wouldn't work and it was expensive,
but I'm satisfied because it was the hospital I chose with great
care. At first, I was worried because the swelling was uneven and the lines were uneven, but after about a month and a half, my eyes became symmetrical when I opened them. I think
the doctor, counseling director, and nurses were all friendly enough to not cause any inconvenience (being overly friendly can actually be a bit burdensome...)
In fact, even if I was a little less friendly, I prioritized a good surgery and reasonable cost, so I chose the counselor and nursing teacher. Kindness wasn't that important, but it was nice that the doctor looked at me carefully before the surgery and asked my opinion about what type of eye I wanted.
I knew the cost was expensive because it was a reoperation, but it was the most expensive compared to other hospitals.
It felt like the hospital itself didn't often give discounts.
The overcorrection was removed and the stitches were removed in about 6 days. I don't know
if the technology has improved over the past 10 years or the doctor's capabilities are different, but the swelling has eased and only the bruising has subsided a little later.
I recently went to a meeting for the first time in a while and everyone asked me if they had the surgery. I heard a lot of people say that they looked prettier without even dreaming about it, so I felt a little reward for spending the money.
And I think the line worked out naturally just as I wanted.
