Before the surgery, there was no eye fat and the eyelids were thin, but the left eye was smaller and slightly thicker than the right eye. Most hospitals said that surgery was possible with the burial method, but the crevices could look too crowded, so they only planned to do it with the burial method. I looked into a few places to have surgery. First surgery in 2008. I searched for a few nearby hospitals online, received consultation, and had surgery using the buried method. In less than a year, his left eye went numb. In 2009, I went back to the hospital where I had the surgery the first time, got a consultation, and said they would do it again, so I had both eyes re-opened using the buried method. Now that I think about it, I wonder why I bothered to cut my right eye. After about a year or two, only my left eye healed again. I was stressed and completely lost trust in the hospital. Around 2012, I decided that the first hospital was no longer suitable, so I gave up and went to another hospital in the Gangnam area of Seoul, received consultation, and performed the third surgery. The doctor said that my right eye was fine, but since it was needlessly performed twice, he suggested that this surgery only be performed on my left eye and that it be done through a partial incision. After that, both eyes stopped working and I lived with some satisfaction in both eyes for about 10 years. 60% satisfied. I didn't like it because the scar was still visible, but I didn't want to touch my eye any more since it had already undergone three surgeries. Now, more than 10 years later, I am considering repeat surgery because my right eye's strength to hold the double eyelid is weak and it seems as if it keeps losing two or three layers. I lived for 10 years with the partial incision in my left eye visible to everyone every time I closed my eyes, as if it had been surgically removed. I thought it would subside, but it was a vain hope. In fact, I'm still contemplating whether it's right to have a fourth eye surgery because I don't know if it will look natural and discreet again.
