I had eye surgery two years ago. The surgery was performed first with general anesthesia, and then local anesthesia was administered to the eye area during general anesthesia. I guess it was because I made an incision, but there was quite a smell of burning flesh during the surgery. There was no pain at all during the surgery. However, when removing fat, I still felt like fat was being removed from my eyelids. I kept feeling like I was pulling something like sticky slime(?) out of my eye. It didn't hurt at all! After the surgery, I went to a swelling reduction room to relieve the swelling. After the surgery, when the anesthesia wore off, I felt like I had a bruised eye and a throbbing pain. (It was different from the stinging feeling.) As soon as the pain came, I took prescription medication and went to sleep, and the pain disappeared. Seven days after surgery, I went to have the epicanthoplasty stitches removed. I remember that the nurse helped me undo the stitches. It stung, but it didn't really hurt. It's been 2 years since the surgery, but now the swelling has gone down a lot. However, because I made an incision, the surgery scars are quite visible. Still, I am overall satisfied with my eye surgery. I hope everyone has a satisfactory surgery! +) The surgery cost was 1.9 million won.
