Hello
, I was born with multiple lines, so when I open my eyes wide, I have double eyelids, and when I relax, I become a matchless(?) person.
However, because I have multiple lines, I find it very stressful to roll my eyes and struggle to open them every time I open them, so I
decided to have double eyelid surgery using the buried method rather than an incision.
I had the surgery at Gangnam Unni or a hospital that plastic surgery apps said were good at doing it.
First of all, the results of the surgery are not that bad!
However, I was very upset because the scar was left behind instead of an incision, and I still feel angry when I think about it. I
had my first surgery consultation on November 16, 2019 and
scheduled the surgery, but the hospital said two days before? I got a call around that time and the director said he had a schedule that day and couldn't perform the surgery. He
didn't even tell me the exact reason, just said he had a schedule, and canceled the surgery. It
was ridiculous, but the hospital said so
. ‘Double eyelid burial + eye correction’ surgery was performed on the 20th.
(The hospital even changed the schedule twice, so I had the surgery at 11pm on December 20th.) However, at the
end of the surgery, they asked me to open my eyes, but my left eye did not open. Even
when I opened my eyes, the left side was out of focus. It was.
Why is it that I can't focus and my eyes can't open? As I was doing it, I actually felt like something was getting tighter.
I thought it might be because I was under anesthesia and my senses were less restored, so I
waited for now. Even after the surgery, I told the nurse that I couldn't focus, and now my eyes are swollen and the
swelling is pressing on my eyes to focus. They said this may not be right.
So I waited.
However, since the surgery was performed buried with stitches removed, there was no significant swelling.
My right eye is fine, but my left eye keeps out of focus and I can't close it well.
When I spoke to the hospital, they asked me to come for a consultation, so I made an appointment for a consultation on February 29, 2020.
But again..! I got a call two days ago and the director said he couldn't schedule it and canceled it. I
was so angry that I contacted the head office's SNS and filed a claim, and the Busan branch contacted me right away and said they would be able to have the surgery that day. I was so angry from
here on, but after consulting with him,
I got eye correction for my left eye . There was too much in and it was putting pressure on my eyes, making it hard to
focus, and they said they had to make an incision to get rid of this...
I couldn't focus, so how could I live without it? ㅠㅠ.. I asked for it to be released.
After the surgery, I was told that it was definitely an incision, but the nurse said it wasn't an incision. They said I could come back in 3 days to have the stitches removed, so
I was in a half-asleep state while the anesthesia had not worn off. Oh, really? Then, 3 days later, I went to have the stitches taken out
, and he asked me why I came so early. He said tomorrow was the day to take them out. It was really a mess haha. He said that
because I was young and my skin gained weight quickly, I could take it out 3 days later...
Anyway, it's been 3 years now. The right eye has completely healed and is back to its original size (eye correction has also been removed),
and the left eye has a scar that will last the rest of my life!! (The scar is also bumpy ㅠㅠ and sticks out when you touch it)
But my double eyelids weren't ruined... I originally had eyes with double eyelids
