First, the reason I decided to get a double eyelid was because I wanted to correct my pair of eyes and make my small eyes bigger. And rather than recommending a hospital to an acquaintance, I personally compared all the reviews on the eye shape and double eyelid that seemed to suit me best through the Gangnam Unnie app, and then selected and visited the three hospitals I wanted to receive consultation from.
Among them, One Pick Plastic Surgery Clinic did not have a very long waiting time for consultation, and above all, the consultation was very good. Before deciding to have double surgery, I was very worried about side effects. I looked into various treatment methods on YouTube and blogs, and was really worried about whether I should do burial or incision, or inline or outline. However, after visiting other hospitals, I don't think there was any hospital that explained the procedure, time, side effects, and review management in as much detail as Onepick. So my fear of surgery went away and I gained a lot of confidence. Next, I received a total of two consultations and surgeries at One Pick, completed follow-up care, and wrote the reviews.
1. Counseling
First, I received counseling from CEO Jae-yoon Oh.
The procedures I received were natural adhesion, eye correction, and epicanthoplasty. The reason I chose natural adhesion (one of the burial methods) was because
my skin was not thick enough to make an incision, and I chose it because I thought it would have fewer side effects.
Also, since I am allergic to medicine, I received thorough consultation with the director about this.
2. The day of the surgery
On the day of the surgery, it was carried out in a very comfortable atmosphere.
The surgery started at 10 am and lasted for about an hour and a half. After receiving an injection for swelling,
I was discharged around 12 o'clock and went home.
During the surgery, I was given local anesthesia, but I slept well and didn't remember much when I woke up.
I only took one painkiller on the day after surgery and didn't take any after that.
Personally, I didn't think it was very painful.
3. Aftercare
This was the best part.
I received laser treatment to reduce swelling the day after surgery until the epicanthoplasty stitches were removed.
The swelling definitely went down quickly.
However, I had quite a lot of bruises.
So, even on the day of stitching removal, I received laser treatment to reduce the bruises.
It is currently subsiding, but the bruise is definitely cured by heat and time.
In conclusion, I was very grateful to Onepick for the meticulous care they provided from consultation to surgery and post-surgery care.
The swelling still needs to go down a little more, but after two weeks, I'm really happy that it looks like I wanted it!!
