Eye correction, puffiness and over-correction!

I had eye correction for over 6 months now, and one side of my eye was less open, so I had it corrected again 2 weeks ago. However, the swelling of my eye, which was less open, was no joke. The area around the front of my eye was especially swollen! 1. What is the minimum and maximum amount of time before eye correction swelling goes away? 2. I still feel like I'm a little too high, but will it come down over time?? I wish one side could loosen up a bit... I used to have double eyelids, but I feel like I'm being greedy for no reason and I'm having a depressing day.
