Hello, I had burial + epicanthoplasty surgery in August last year and
revision epicanthoplasty surgery this time!
It's been a year since I had surgery, and my lines are uneven, and
I still keep hearing people ask me if I had an incision. But
more than anything, because my epicanthoplasty was uneven, I couldn't make eye contact with people and was really stressed out.
Then, I had surgery this time!
I had my stitches removed yesterday, and today is the 6th day of the surgery.
I also posted here to find out about the hospital, but
there was almost no information about epicanthoplasty restoration or reconstruction surgery. There were no posts. So
, I am posting this in the hope that it might be of some help
to
anyone who is having epicanthoplasty restoration surgery. I had surgery at a hospital in Suwon that I found through an internet search without knowing. It was wrong and I went to the hospital to get a refund, but they told me to file a lawsuit because they wouldn't give me a refund or a reoperation. So I got hurt again. I
looked for a hospital to get a reoperation, but I called five hospitals in Apgujeong. I posted a post, but everyone told me to go to a specialized hospital or that it was dangerous because reconstruction surgery is difficult and can cause a lot of scars.
So I think it took about a month just to find a hospital . I should know
where
the specialized hospital is. I made an appointment, but one place said it would only be available for consultation, but it would only be available in 2 weeks. So I made a reservation at the other place first, but when I looked at the pictures and saw people who were worse off than me (they must have been through a lot of emotional distress, too),
I wanted to do it sooner. That's why. I made an appointment at the hospital that day and came home,
but I thought I may have been too hasty, so I looked for a hospital again and received consultation. In the end, I
had surgery at the place where I received consultation in the first place
. It was a reoperation and restoration. I was really worried, but I guess
it was the director who consulted in the operating room; Anyway, I was very touched because he stayed by my side until I fell asleep.
At the hospital where I had surgery before, the anesthesia wore off when I closed my eyes, so I had the surgery while really shaking, but it hurt and I was scared. This time, maybe because I only had one eye, it didn't hurt at all, and even pulling out the stitches didn't hurt at all. It really didn't hurt at all.
I only had epicanthoplasty restoration surgery on my right eye because my right eye was more cleft and the scar was worse. I was really worried that the lines would change from outline to inline after the surgery, so I was worried that they would mismatch again, but my left eye was better and just in case. If you have a scar after surgery ㅠㅠ I thought it would be better to have a scar in only one eye than to have a scar in both eyes, so I did only the right side,
but I don't think there is that much of a difference. In my case;
Maybe it's because I opened up my right eye so much that the lines aren't even noticeable now haha.
It doesn't look that noticeable in the picture, but
in reality, if you look at my face as a whole, it's really bad ㅠㅠ
Even someone I've only met a few times told me to have eye surgery again -_ - ㅠㅠㅠ
The article got longer as I wrote it; The pre-surgery photo was taken at the hospital, and the post-surgery photo was taken with a cell phone. The next day after the stitches were removed, the red swelling had subsided further. But I met a friend after the stitches were removed and he said it was just a mosquito bite. He said it was okay. It will take a while ㅠㅠ

don't suffer like I did and do a lot of research! I hope you get the surgery at a good hospital ㅠㅠ

소송은 어차피 제가 지잖아요ㅠ 돈도 돈이고 ㅠ 상담하러 다른병원 다 돌아봐도 눈재수술 필요하다고 다른 의사들은 그렇게 말하던데 거기서는 재수술도 환불도 해줄필요가 없는 눈이니까 환불원하면 소송걸라고 ㅠ 근데 자기는 소송에서 져도 환불해준적 한번도 없었다며 ㅋㅋㅋ 글쓰는 지금도 화가 -_ - ;;;
