This is not about slandering a specific hospital or revealing its name, but I am trying to objectively post what I experienced. (I’m scared of deletion or demotion; haha) I had epicanthoplasty revision surgery. The first surgery I had was about five years ago, when I had an epicanthoplasty at a local plastic surgery clinic without knowing anything about it. The surgical method at that time left a lot of scars. Long along the front corner of the eye... But my eyes were the type where the scars were centered below the front corner of the eye, on the cute side. There was no scar on the upper part of the eyelid where the double eyelids are, and it was only worse on the lower part. The open shape of the Mongolia is also not horizontal but rather downwards, which is an ugly shape, right? That's right.ㅠㅠ I realized that since the area in front of the eyes is in the center of the face, it influences too much of the first impression. Now I have to get a job, but the scars can't be covered with makeup... Unlike other areas, my skin has become a bit more manly... Even if I cover it with concealer, if I blink a few times, it gets stuck in the wrinkles and shows more. Me...-_- So, while looking into reoperation for various reasons, I found out that it was a magic epicanthoplasty... After collecting enough data, I went for a consultation to find out about reoperation. This hospital is famous for magic epicanthoplasty. Doctor Sam said, “It is possible to change the shape horizontally while reducing the scar.” And my eyes were evenly slit on both sides, so one side was a little longer and the other was a little shorter. I decided to correct that too. Because it was a reoperation, I paid a much higher price than the usual price and had the surgery. I received it in December last year...it's been over a year now. In conclusion, for the first 2-3 months, my eyes seemed cooler than before...and seemed to look horizontal. Immediately after the surgery, my eyes still appeared to be misaligned, but this may be due to swelling of the surgeon's gland, so if they remain misaligned even after 6 months, I will correct them! I said so. But from the beginning, the scar on my right eye was very noticeable. The incision line of Magic Epicanthoplasty is performed along the eye mucosa, that is, almost matching the eye-shaped line, so the key is to leave no scars. However, the location of the incision line on one of my eyes was clearly wider than the eye line, so for the past year, I had to go around with red marks in front of my eyes in this shape. If this is the case, what kind of magic epicanthoplasty is it? However, as time passed, the effect that seemed to be there disappeared. It looked the same as before the reoperation. The effect that made my eyes look refreshingly open has disappeared, and the horizontal shape has returned to having plump nails... Even now, more than a year later, the unevenness has still not improved. Moreover, I also got a scar above my eye that wasn't there before. Was this a bonus gift? Haha , so I went to the hospital again last summer. Then he said I would have to wait a year for the reoperation and told me to come back after a year. So I went back this December. Then... they said that no matter how much surgery I had, I would be back in 2-3 months and that they couldn't have the surgery again. So I asked, “Is the reason why I can’t have reoperation because of excess skin, or is it because of my natural constitution or skin tone?” Then they told me that surgery was impossible due to my constitution and physical condition. Wow.. Then shouldn’t I have had the surgery in the first place? Since there is no effect after the surgery, I blame my constitution. The head of the counseling department talked like a parrot over and over again... "It's not that we don't want to perform the surgery... blah blah..." No matter how roundabout it is, the conclusion is that we don't want to do the surgery. -_ - Then give me a refund. Anyway, I strongly expressed my opinion, "I don't care if it's effective or not, I really need to get it corrected, even if it's only for my mismatched eyelids. Just have one shorter eye adjust to the other eye," and they told me to come back after the Lunar New Year. If they say no this time, I'm going to ask for a refund. You spend money, time, and bad looks.. One epicanthoplasty and Lee Baek is your dog's name. ㅠㅠ In this case, no one has suffered, right? ; I hope everyone else here goes well with their surgery. Thank you for reading this long, rambling post.
