I had breast augmentation surgery with Mentor Smooth the winter before last, and
it's been almost two years now.
To briefly summarize my body specs,
height: 157.8
Previous weight: 55 -> Current weight: 47
Previous chest size: aaa -> Current chest size: 70c
In this article, rather than summarizing the pros and cons, I'm going to organize them based on the side effects.
1. Rippling side effect (very severe/ left chest) -> O
I've lost so much weight this year compared to the year
before last, that until now, I could only feel slight wrinkles,
but the rippling on my left breast has gotten so bad that it's very visible.
It's hard to blame the hospital for this
because - I chose Mentor Smooth (low-fill implant) because I didn't have money.
- My skin was thin to begin with, and my upper body was thin before I lost weight.
- I had significantly insufficient breast tissue (aaa cup).
2. I'm so so so stressed out right now ㅠㅠㅠ
It's not like I have capsular contracture, so it's ambiguous whether I should get another surgery
, but it's also ambiguous whether I should gain weight.. ^_^ ..ㅠ ㅋ ㅠ..
2. Animation phenomenon (middle / left breast) -> O
Well... As expected, my left breast moves definitely.
Rather than saying this is a side effect, I think it's more due to my breasts having less underlying assets.
3. Capsular contracture??---> X
I've had ultrasounds several times recently for breast examinations, but there weren't any abnormal findings.
+ As a bonus, I recently developed a lump in my right breast (not related to the implant insertion)
and am waiting for the results from a biopsy.
+ I wrote this as a review, but I'm actually writing this because I have a lot of concerns
. It's a bit worse in reality than in the pictures.
In my opinion, the rippling phenomenon is quite severe, but
I don't know if it's enough to require another surgery, so I'm mustering up the courage to write this to get some advice.
+ Additionally, if you have any further questions, including those not included in this post,
I will do my best to answer them all!
